Each Test Contains

The Test Paper – containing 28 questions in English and maths.
Pupil Answer Sheet – a separate page for the child to fill out their answers in the SEAG format.
Answer Sheet – a single page with all the answers, for easy and quick marking.
Answer Booklet – this booklet provides a detailed explanation for each question. This is a key feature of Star Papers and is important for learning as it gives parents the knowledge and know-how to guide and teach their child for similar questions in the future.

The Layout

To get the child started, we have reduced the amount of questions in the half test.
Each Half Test layout is as follows:

English Section (14 Questions)
* Punctuation – 3 Questions
* Grammar – 3 Questions
* Spelling – 3 Questions
* Comprehension – 5 Questions in total with 3 Multiple Choice Questions and 2 Free-Style Questions

Maths Section (14 Questions)
* 9 Multiple Choice Questions
* 5 Free-Style Questions
