Can I read previous customer reviews?
Absolutely, you can have a browse through the independent reviews on the Facebook Reviews Page and our website reviews. I’ve included a few comments below.
“As a parent, these papers have been a life saver! I loved the answer booklet because sometimes i’m not sure how to explain these questions to my daughter.” Orla Boyle
“I’m glad I found these papers, I really struggled to understand the new SEAG format and this put my mind at ease. I liked how all the papers followed this format and allowed my son to get used to answering on the answer sheet. Can’t wait for the next bundle. Thanks!” Ruth Hagan
What are half tests?
Half tests are great for when your child is starting their preparation for the transfer test. They are half the amount of questions – (28 in total) and the allocated time is 30minutes.
They still follow the SEAG specification, with a mixture of multiple and free choice.
All tests come with an answer booklet explaining how to work out all the answers.
When should I start my child on test papers?
Every child will have different abilities and drive. With revision and tests try to ease into the process so the child doesn’t become overwhelmed early in the process. A common time to start revision and tests is January. This give you plenty of time to cover the material and practice exam technique.
However, don’t panic if there are still knowledge gaps, as the schools don’t usually finish covering the specification until April time.
Half tests are a great starting point because they’re not as long as a full test. On the front page of the half tests, there is a reflection sheet. This allows you to identify questions or topics you have to do further work or revision on.
What layout do the full and half tests follow?
The full tests follow the exact SEAG layout. It is important your child gets used to using the answer sheet to record their answers. This layout allows them to become familiar with answering a mixture of multiple choice and free choice questions.
